We Are More Than Conquerors

Romans 8:37–In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

In all these things–These things are mentioned in verse 35; tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword.  These are things that would cause pain, sorrow, anxiety, grief or anything that would bother us. Temptations would also fit into this list.

We are more than conquerors–We are able to overcome and gain a surpassing victory over whatever comes our way.

Through Him that loved us–Our victory comes through or as the result of Jesus being in our life, and working in our life.  Sometimes He delivers us from the aforementioned things and sometimes He delivers us through those things.  He has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the world.  He said that He would never leave us nor forsake us. He also said that all power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth.  He loved us and gave Himself for us.  He loved us then, loves now and will always love us because He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
