Letters From God–Book of 1 Peter 4:12-19

My child, don’t think it strange when severe trials come your way for it will be a common thing among My children.  Remember the words of Jesus: “you are in the world but you are not of the world.  Because I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world will hate you.  If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.  All these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they don’t know the Father who sent me.”  When these times come, your faithfulness will be tried, but rejoice for you are partaking of the same sufferings that Christ did and when his glory shall be revealed you will be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, be happy for the Spirit of glory and of God will rest upon you: on their part they speak evil of Christ, but on your part he is glorified.  You are not to suffer as an evil doer or as a busybody in other people’s matters.  Don’t be ashamed if you suffer as a Christian but glorify God on this behalf.  For the time being Christians will be judged but the time will come when judgment will rest on them that choose to not obey the gospel.  The righteous are scarcely saved but the ungodly and the sinner will experience the second death, cast into the lake of fire and suffer eternally.  Wherefore if you suffer because of My will, commit the keeping of soul to Me in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.  1 Peter 4:12-19
