God Is With Us

Isaiah 41:10–Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
As we have said before, God does not want us to be afraid. He lists three reasons that we should not fear or be dismayed.
1. Because He is with us. We do not walk alone. Whatever we have to face God will be there with us. He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you always even to the end of the world”. He is our God and cares for us.
2. Because He is our God. He is all knowing, all powerful, and every present. He is everything we need to face and deal with whatever comes our way. He will always do what is right by us for He is our God.
3. Because He will strengthen us. He will strengthen us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
What God will Do:
1. He will help us. He is an ever-present help in our time of need.
2. He will uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness. He said, “I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee”–Isaiah 41:13. He will support us and keep us from falling by the power of His righteousness.

I am reminded of the words of Jesus in the midst of the storm, “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid”–Matthew 14:27. When fear knocks at out door or we become dismayed, let us put our trust in the Lord.
