Do Not Fear

Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.”

Fear not nor be dismayed: This is something that appears through out the Old Testament and the New Testament. God does not want us to fear. The opposite of fear is trust and faith in God. It is believing that God desires only the best for us no matter what is happening. It is believing that God is on our side and is with us.

I am your God and I am with you: God is with us no matter where we are or what we are going through.

I will strengthen you and help you: God will act on our behalf. He will strengthen us mentally, emotionally, and physically. He will lift our spirits. He will lift us up from fear and dismay to bravery and courage. He will give us His peace which passes all understanding.

I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness: He will support us, keep us from falling, hold us up and keep us going. He will do what is right and just for us in the fullness of His power. Let us draw near to Him that He will draw near to us. Let us put ourselves and our situations in His hands through prayer. He has given the promise, the rest is up to us. Let us experience the reality of this promise.
