The Kingdom of God enters the kingdom of the world

Matthew 3:2 Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The Kingdom of God was manifest when Jesus began His ministry.

What happens when a kingdom comes into the realm of another kingdom? There Is conflict.
Matthew 10:34-36 My coming brings conflict as people turn from the worldly kingdom to the Kingdom of God. Even among family members there will be conflict, as some choose to follow the rule of God in their lives by living according to His will and His word.

John 15:18-19 Jesus came choosing people from the world. His chosen are in the world but no longer of the worldly kingdom. He said, “if you had anything in common with the world, the world would love you as one of its own. If you find yourself in conflict with the world then realize that it was in conflict with me before it was in with you.”

Ephesians 2:2 The world follows a course under the influence of Satan, who works in the children of disobedience to God and follow the course of the world. Those who are of the worldly kingdom live according to the flesh and those who are of the Kingdom of God are to live according to the Spirit of God. However, there are some Christians who tend to still live in the flesh and the ways of the worldly system instead of the Spirit and in the ways of God. They are carnal and live as men of the world.

2 Timothy 3:1-4 As the world comes closer to the end, Satan’s influence is seen more and more. People will become increasingly lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, without self-control, brutal, reckless, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world nor the things that belong to the world. For everything that belongs to the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle is not from God, but is from the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of God is not in him. The world with its lusts will pass away, but those who do God’s will, will remain forever.

Romans 12:2 Christians are not to be conformed to the world and live like it. They are to be transformed by the renewing of their mind and no longer to live as people of the worldly kingdom, but to live as people of the Kingdom of God. They are no longer to live in the flesh but in the Spirit. They are no longer to live according to sight but by faith.

Where do you stand? Do you live according to the worldly system under the influence of Satan or do you live according to the Kingdom of God and His influence? You must be born of the Spirit of God to enter the spiritual Kingdom of God. Find someone who can help you.
